Summary/Abstract: The research aims to determine the influence of the cotton aphid and the western flower thrips on the development and cultivation of cucumbers. The material used includes a review of scientific research on the problem, and the methods used are comparative analysis and synthesis. The results found that the cotton aphid and the western flower thrips are key cucumber enemies that cause significant damage to vegetable crops. The fight against the enemies should start during the production of seedlings to limit their passage and development in the cultivated areas. The cotton aphid and western flower thrips have natural enemies, predators and parasites that should be used because they can reduce the population, and treatment with preparations is a prerequisite for limiting the destruction of plants.
