Summary/Abstract: In an attempt to avoid Romanian Culture and Civilization courses becoming purely theoretical or even overwhelming due to a lot of information, using modern and interactive teaching methods would help students to understand much better and to acquire more efficient the most important aspects of Romanian culture and civilization classes.In our work we aim to give some examples of such interactive methods and strategiesthat are appropriates to the contents of the lessons in the 1st semester, such as teaching/reciprocal learning method, the Jigsaw or the "method of interdependent groups", the method of the pyramid (or snowball), The Cause and effect diagram method, Lotus method or Philips techniques 6/6.
