Critical Considerations Regarding the Legal Liability of Local Public Administration Leaders

Summary/Abstract: Legal liability in general and legal liability of local public administration leaders in particular has always been a permanent goal of society. This study is an analysis and a review of the legal liability of the local public administration leaders, as it was regulated by law after the 1989 Revolution. The study highlights how the lawmaker has regulated this particularly sensitive area. When deviations from the natural course of these regulations have been found, we highlighted them and gave relevant arguments in this respect. We finally made also relevant proposals of lex ferenda, to return to a normality in terms of legal regulations in this area.
