Summary/Abstract: „Greenwashing” in the textile industry represents the misleading of consumers about the environmental results of the companies, related to the manufactured textile products and the company policies. The concept expresses the discrepancy between the environmental policy presented by business subjects and their real environmental responsibility. The purpose of the present study is to investigate „greenwashing” in the textile industry. The research presents studies related to greenwashing in the textile industry and in the context of fast fashion, as well as direction for future research.
