Summary/Abstract: The publication is about the problem of disinformation, which today is a part of every person's daily life, regardless of where in the world they live. A problem that in recent years concerns not only the scientific community, but also international and governmental organizations. The text provides data and facts proving that every day we are confronted with misinformation. Some of the reasons for its appearance and spread are also indicated. Since the topic is extremely painful and large-scale, only some aspects of the topic are covered in the publication.
