Summary/Abstract: The paper outlines the major role social networks play today as a means by which audiences receive and disseminate information. What is emphasized is the need for the correct management of information by companies, management organizations, so that users can receive up-to-date and accurate information. The risks of misinformation and the role of the media in shaping public opinion are indicated.
