Summary/Abstract: The article aims to show the connection between scales and chords in jazz music. To reveal the way that scales are treated according to the chords. For the purpose, all of the most used chords in jazz will be used and a connection to the corresponding scale will be made, separately. Once this is done, the material can serve as a synthesized summary to be used in jazz improvisation training.
