Summary/Abstract: The precarious context of social, economic and political life due to the war, taking place near the borders of the Republic of Moldova, requires a complex ability to adapt the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the social environment, which is only achievable if we understand the extraordinary role that management has emotional intelligence. Modern theories that have studied the police environment confirm the fact that police officers constantly need psychological (self) intervention strategies in crisis situations, due to the stressful work environment. Therefore, the practical application of psychological self-intervention techniques in situations of emotional crisis by civil servants with special status who apply the law will lead to a better knowledge of their own abilities, to the efficiency of communication and relations with civil society, with colleagues, leaders, family members; will contribute to increasing the degree of adaptation, comfort and quality of professional and personal life.
