Theoretical foundations of the accompaniment of foster families. Towards methodological recommendations from the point of view of family studies

Summary/Abstract: This article has been prepared in order to present the theoretical and methodological foundations of social activity conducted in the foster parenthood environment. In the course of the under taken analyses, the deskresearch method was used. The research covered sources of legal regulation, the results of previous field explorations (own and foreign), as well as specialist literature on the subject. On the basis of the conducted research, it can be assumed that the category of accompaniment requires further reflection and scientific research aimed at the sphere of activity supporting foster families in their daily service.
