Summary/Abstract: Sim Swap attacks are a cyber threat in which attackers transfer control of a user’s mobile device to gain access to their personal information. This can lead to financial losses, compromised online accounts and identity theft. Precautions include enabling additional layers of security for mobile accounts and carefully maintaining the security of personal information.
