Evaluation of the level of institutional development of office – experience of the local government of Częstochowa

Summary/Abstract: In order for the local administration to satisfactorily fulfil its tasks, its functioning needs to be constantly perfectioned. Ideally, the modernisation should relate to an established pattern of good offices of the local government. The article presents the efforts made at the Urząd Miasta Częstochowy in order to improve management, by applying the Institutional Development Program.
