Summary/Abstract: The report presents a content analysis of the educational content on the topic „Staroplaninska oblast” in the study of natural areas in the 7th grade under the field of competence „Geography of Bulgaria”. The results include content models on the subject through intellectual maps, compiled on the basis of the textual and extratextual components of all variants of geography and economics textbooks.
