Summary/Abstract: During the Covid-19 pandemic, one of the important and current issues was how to protect people in the risk group and those with low body resistance against the pandemic and the precautions to be taken. In addition, those with strong body resistance were almost never mentioned. Companies experience the same situation during times of crisis. Resilient companies are often not mentioned. The real crises and problems occur in businesses with weak institutional resistance. The institutional resistance of a business is not dependent on a single area, a specific process or a specific condition in the workplace. Institutional resistance covers many different and important processes at the management level. Before the Covid-19 outbreak; the word resilience, which was used as a term related to health, psychology and technique, has become more frequently used in the business world, especially after 2021. In current research; "company resilience" is translated into Turkish as "Business resilience". Business resilience has begun to be called the ability to recover from unpredictable destructive events that have negative consequences with very little damage. The purpose of this study is to comprehensively investigate the concept of “business resilience” that emerges especially in times of crisis in a globalizing world. In addition, the issue of how businesses can be made more resilient is evaluated in the light of current information and data. The concept of “business resilience”, which forms the basis of the research, was analyzed according to the “7-pillar model of resilience” used in studies on resilience all over the world. Current information on why businesses should be resilient is presented.
