Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the report is to reveal how agricultural products and services are marketed in a diverse and transcultural environment. Emphasis is placed on the marketing of orchard and agricultural products from Kyustendil, which contribute to the development of not only the for-profit organizations that create it, but also the nonprofit ones (institutes, cultural centers) that communicate it. Together they develop the region/country of origin. A connection between agrarian products and culture are the two holidays - of the cherry and of fertility, which are part of the annual cultural calendar of the municipality of Kyustendil. Thus, the region becomes a center for cultural exchange and helps to promote agrarian tourism as a type of alternative tourism at the local and national level.
