Summary/Abstract: The 32nd Colloquium of Young Linguists took place at the Faculty of Arts, University of Prešov, from November 30 to December 1, 2023. Organized by the Slovak Linguistic Society in collaboration with the Institute of Slovak Studies and Media Studies, the event featured eight sections where young linguists and literary scholars presented their research. The colloquium was opened by Prof. Martina Ivanová and Dr. Peter Karpinský, who highlighted the tradition and significance of the event. Key presentations included topics on Slovak syntax, numeral usage, descriptive grammar, and regional dialects. The event also covered cognitive-ethnolinguistic perspectives, phraseology in Russian, and language resources in Ukrainian humor. The colloquium provided a platform for academic discussion, networking, and the exchange of ideas among young researchers. The proceedings are available online, with a full publication expected by the end of 2024.
