Summary/Abstract: The disappearance of the accountant Antonio Patò, during a representation of the Jesus Christ’s passion makes a great confusion in Vigata. Patò, attorney at bank, is searched by a carabinier and a policeman.The two men understand that Patò isn’t really dead but is escaped with his lover and, to save too their place work, the carabinier and the policeman decide that Patò and the woman are dead. In this way, all come back bequiet.
