Summary/Abstract: His collaboration with Silviu Purcărete had a decisive influence on the life and professional career of Paul Chiribuță, who started his professional life at the Theatre of Youth in Piatra Neamț and later moved to Bucharest. In the early 1990s, after Purcărete took over the management of the Bulandra Theatre, Chiribuță worked alongside him as an artistic director, and then they continued to work together in Limoges, too. In response to Tamara Constantinescu’s questions, the actor-teacher evokes the exciting period when Romanian theatre was gaining international recognition.
