For some features of reterminologization as a factor of external systemicity in terminology

Summary/Abstract: This report examines the process of reterminologisation, which is the transfer of a ready-made term or term element from one scientific or professional field to another, with a complete or partial rethinking of the meaning of this transformation. The author dwells on the main ways in which reterminologization is carried out, on the results of this semantic transformation and points out a number of interesting examples illustrating the phenomenon.
