Summary/Abstract: This article aims to highlight the specific elements of reality TV shows as well as their functioning. This type of discourse has evolved over time and can play an important role in promoting certain personalities, who can then embark on an individual career. The discourse of this type of broadcast can influence self-image and image in the community, hence the need for balanced media coverage, which respects the moral standards of society, while meeting the needs of the audience.
