Summary/Abstract: From the position of a contemporary witness, the author – linguist, translator, and former dissident – reacts to Marek Suk’s article “‘Dílna’ Charty 77” published in this journal (Vol. 30, No. 2, 2023, pp. 385–413) and corrects some of the documented circumstances of his involvement in the preparation of the Charter documents.
