Summary/Abstract: The paper concerns Ludwik Bronarski’s first visit to Ignacy Jan Paderewski’s residence on the Riond-Bosson estate. As the basic source, the author quotes relevant notes from Bronarski’s diary, which came to her attention during research at the Polish Catholic Mission in Marly (Switzerland). These are quoted in full in the appendix. The paper itself focuses on selected topics from Bronarski’s account and briefly discusses the background, which can shed additional light on the source text itself. Though the said source offers no breakthroughs in either Paderewski or Bronarski biographical studies, it nevertheless presents these two figures in a new and hitherto largely unknown light.
