NEOREGIONALISM – A NEW CHALLENGE FOR GLOBALIZATION

Summary/Abstract: Globalization is a challenge for the social sciences: while political scientists often ignore the economic transformations, technological and financial changes or huge capital movements, the economists ignore the socio-political implications of economic and technological changes. Capitalism is since its earliest stages an international revolutionary force unifying the world economy and breaking obstacles towards a worldwide economic system. The European communities would even never be born without such an international positive environment.
