Summary/Abstract: Anna Scheibler, née Werner, was the wife of Lodz’s richest factory owner Karol W. Scheibler. Historian Ewa M. Bladowska has attempted to write her biography against the background of the then history of the great industrial city. The author’s meeting with the book’s author took place on December 11, 2023 in the Conference Room of the Marszałek Józef Piłsudski Provincial Public Library in Łódź. It was linked to the promotion of the book entitled: Lodz Millionaire. Anna née Werner Scheiblerowa. The conversation with the author of the publication was conducted by Andrzej Machejek, editor-in-chief of Hamal Publishing House, through which the story of the wife of the Lodz “king of cotton” was published.
