Summary/Abstract: The main idea is that of the examination of the unknown takes place in the process of living as in the process of knowing and neither has sense in the absence of meaning. The approach implies a discussion of ontological, phenomenological and epistemological dimension in correlation with the apparent, conformist, or secure meanings versus the hidden and more genuine meanings. There are shown different kinds of attitudes depending on different kinds of attachments, furthermore a transfer is made from subjective attachment to personal aspects of life into interesting aspects of searching significance of theoretical descriptions of the physical reality. Finally, one is looking for the consequences and gains of abandoning the attachments to reductionist theories which are searching for significance only in concrete aspects of reality.
