Summary/Abstract: The basic mission of the Church is carried out through munus docendi and munus sanc- tificandi. In fulfilling these tasks, the community founded by Christ meets with different cultures and becomes involved in the process of inculturation. The latter points to the need to build proper relationships between faith and culture. Its special expression is the liturgical inculturation, which can be defined as the process of introducing cultic texts and rites into the structure of local culture. This study presents the process of the inculturation in relation to the liturgical law, as well as models of inculturation, which are extremely important in the process of creating public worship and liturgical prayer.
