Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the effectiveness of academic tutoring in improving English pronunciation skills. The author describes the case of an English philology student who, despite completing a phonetics course, faced difficulties in the correct articulation of English sounds. Over two semesters, the student participated in individual sessions with the author, focusing on practical exercises such as shadowing and recording his own pronunciation.
