Developing Language Skills in Italian Language Course on the Basis of a Study of Students’ Preferences

Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the results of the survey conducted among the adult participants of the Italian language course. The aim was to identify the proposals of didactic tasks developing basic language skills and teaching through play in a private institution. According to the respondents, conversation is the most useful skill, rated as the “most enjoyable”. It is worth noting that practicing grammar skills is highly appreciated by learners. Listening comprehension is the most difficult for the respondents. The majority expressed a positive opinion towards ludic approach in learning process.
