Summary/Abstract: With the rapid development of digital technology and artificial intelligence, modern civilization has finally entered the era of ‘postnormal times’ which, alongside the benefits of scientifical and technological advancements – globalization, urbanization, genomics, but also climate changes, brought a definitive incontinuity of the order of old values, with systemic knowledge about things, as it has brought to an erosion of truth and trust as basic values within the traditional forms of knowledge. Attacking the core function of human memory, digital culture as an unmatched and all-powerful carrier of information in the era of ‘postnormal times’ already drives towards a public discourse where epistemic and ethical/moral values are losing their validity – truth and lie, virtue and vice are almost completely equalized, with an unhidden tendency that the scale of unquestionable traditional educational values is being pushed to the very margins of life.
