The Gdansk “Benefis Dojrzałości” as a form of artistic intergenerational communication

Summary/Abstract: The article concerns one of the largest cyclic Pomeranian artistic initiatives, organized as a tribute to seniors and their experience. It describes the circumstances and the process leading up to the event. Based on personal experience and conversations with the organizers, the author shows the huge impact of the event on the local environment, as well as its numerous beneficial effects among the multi‑generational audience. The author emphasizes the importance of the initiative as an intergenerational dialogue in which everyone has a chance to share their wisdom and emotions.
