Summary/Abstract: In this paper I discuss the manner in which the Fine Arts’ terminology (architecture, painting, sculpture) is recorded and treated by Ion Costinescu in the Vocabularu romano-francesu [The Romanian-French Vocabulary] (Bucharest, 1870), highlighting the typology of terms, the graphical forms they occurred (i.e. terminological syntagms or not) and their origin.
