Summary/Abstract: Hermeneutics of heart in Sufi literature is a text which aims to show that true understanding of the contents of constitutive sources of Islam is the most complete, deep and profound in the hermeneutics which has been offered by the millennium long Sufism in Islam. All the more that the basic topos of understanding in the context of that hermeneutics is spiritual heart (fuad) in which symbols, mysteries, metaphysical signs and massages of the text of Islamic Revelation and Prophetic tradition are reflected and widely resounded. In accordance with Ibn 'Araby's verse: My heart has become the receiver of all forms … spiritual heart is the only receiver in the context of the light hierogeography of the perfect man in which the whole rainbow colours of God's Words find their calm and the only spiritual abiding place. It is the pre-existence cup in which the jewels of Secret treasury are hidden, and the spring of spiritual life which roll those very jewels through the shadows of the soul – through the river bed by which the light of the God's Word goes back upstream to its metaphysical river mouth.
