Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine the applications of school administrators from various types of leadership to visionary and instructional leadership behaviors in education and training contained in the literature in the field summer. Leadership is the reflection of the characteristics that can influence a group by using a person's personal characteristics and provide direction to their activities. It seems that the concept of leadership, which is as old as human history, is confused with the concept of management. However, it should be known that the concepts of management and leadership are different from each other. While management is considered as carrying out this responsibility process by taking a responsibility, leadership is to influence a group, guide, generate ideas, be able to see the future and mobilize the group in the process of turning them into action. It is very important for school principals to be able to achieve visionary and instructional leadership in order to keep up with the changes brought by the age in education, to update goals and objectives. In the society we live in, it is known that there are people who will direct groups of people with certain desires and expectations to realize their goals and direct their activities. These people who guide people are called leaders, and the guidance of these people in the process of realizing goals is called leadership. Instructional leadership requires developing forward-looking plans and programs by targeting student success and ensuring the arrival of employees in this direction. When evaluated from the point of view of school administrators; it has been determined that school principals should bear the characteristics of educational leaders. Managers should use their knowledge and experience to plan, supervise and monitor the processes related to education and training, and try to prevent a decrease in the quality of teaching.
