Summary/Abstract: There is no recognition of the spiritual significance of the Montessori educational method in Christian confessions or in any other religious philosophies today. The current development of pedagogical thought in the world is guided by principles following which the revolutionary nature of the philosophy of Maria Montessori is regarded as insufficient and out-of-date.
