Summary/Abstract: On the territory of Serbia there are archaeological traces that show unequivocally that in these spaces emperor was worshiped as a deity. Although this tradition was established since the beginning of the Roman Empire (XIV century before Christ), peak is reached in the transition from the third to fourth century, starting with Diocletian’s reforms, and finishing the 313, when Christianity became the official state religion. Topic of this work is primarily focused on two emperors in our region: Gallery and his nephew Maximinus Dajus, in which the phenomenon of man-gods reached peaked.
