Summary/Abstract: Contemporary dynamic economic development requires continuous mo- dernization of logistics processes in companies. In practice, the main goal of this modernization is to improve the efficiency or reduce the costs of these processes. The efficient functioning of logistics processes is fundamental for the activity of every company, which is why companies constantly strive to improve logistics areas, especially those that require optimization. Implementation of modernization concepts may involve many activities, such as using modern technologies, pro- cess optimization, introducing organizational changes, or modifying the company- ’s structure. The constant search for new tools, techniques, systems, technologies, and methods to improve activity is a characteristic feature of enterprise manage- ment. The aim of the study is to present the concept of modernization of logistics processes in a manufacturing company, taking into account the identification of functional problems within the company’s activity and proposing changes aimed at increasing operational efficiency and strengthening the competitive position on the market. As a result of the conducted research and analysis, functional problems related to an outdated and improperly functioning machinery park and inefficient management were diagnosed. Research has shown that the low efficiency of the machinery park has resulted in noticeably frequent and recurring problems with the quality of produced products. Analyses have shown that the proposed changes and modernizations would bring positive effects in solving the identified functional problems. In addition, the proposed modernizations would significantly impact the smoother functioning of logistics processes in the company, increasing the quality of produced products, the speed and efficiency of activities, as well as improving the comfort and safety of employees.
