RELIGIOUS CONVERSION

Summary/Abstract: Within the subject “Introduction to Sociology and Sociology of Religion”, we encounter the term conversions in religion. In this paper, author presents and goes deeper into the conversion in religion as the experience of believers. As an example, author uses the conversions of the apostles Paul and Primoz Trubar, and their impact on society. In the second part of the paper, author uses the empirical research method, an anonymous survey in a group of Pentecostal Christians of the Pentecostal Church Murska Sobota in Slovenia. The main research questions for the group are: how did they turn, who told them about God, what image of God do believers have, and do they actively participate in the church?
