Summary/Abstract: The educational crises in today’s society can only be met with a system or forms of education that have proven successful. The most enduring educational system seems to be the Jewish one. It began in the family and was later promoted through various people appointed to carry out education, such as Levites, prophets, and scribes. The Jewish educational system was successful because of the way the commandments and ordinances given by God were practiced. A key word is “Torah,” which is more than a set of laws. It is at the heart of Jewish education and has been the glue that has held the Jewish nation together despite all the vicissitudes it has gone through over the past two thousand years. As a result, it is worth looking in a little more detail at what this educational system consists of and whether it is worth copying, at least in part.
