Summary/Abstract: Arianism is a Christian heresy that experienced a massive rise after Arius's death, especially in the sixth decade IV century. The period of the sixth decade is particularly characteristic because during it and due to the geopolitical situation in the Roman Empire, the city of the Sirmium became the center of the church events of this period. The results of the above are the compilations of four Sirmian confessions of faith, of which the fourth one adopted in 359 is by far the most significant. The expectations of the Arians at the Council for the Western Fathers in the city of Rimini were about this exposition of the faith, the voting of the same by the gathered fathers, and the replacement of the existing Nicene Confession with the new one of Sirmium. The paper analyses the influence of various branches of Arianism on the councils of Sirmium, as well as the critical viewpoints of the new confessions of faith connected with the ecclesiastical historical events of the mentioned epoch.
