Summary/Abstract: The State Jewish Museum owns, besides others, a collection of Shiwiti tablets. The first part of the paper deals with their liturgical function and relation to the Kabbala, above all that of Isaac Luria. The tablets from the collection are described and the texts on them analysed, the analysis being the main purpose of the paper.
