Summary/Abstract: Being one of the most important Jewish cemeteries in Moravia, the old. cemetery at Mikulov is paid attention to in this contribution. First the author describes the cemetery and the development of its tombstones, their decoration and symbols appearing on them. The end of the paper is devoted to scholars and chief rabbis of Moravia buried in the cemetery.
