Summary/Abstract: The new challenge for modern business in an environment of intense competition and globalisation is people. The success of any organization is a function of the ability of its people to implement processes whose end result satisfies the needs of its customers. In this context, „creating“ the right people for any organization is one of the priority tasks of the organization's leadership. Therefore, the issues related to the management of people in the organization is the subject of research with a view to developing methods and approaches for both studying and modifying people's work behavior. The article focuses on the importance of talent discovery and retention processes in managing human resources in the organization.
