Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the presentation of the specific characteristics of the master, the student, and relations between those two. It shows the absence of the traditional master-student relationship in today’s schools and on the universities. Postmodernism ideas, which cause changes in this institutions are the main reason for described situation. Author see personalistic pedagogy as a chance for the development of the master-student relationship in the current reality.
