The Late Bronze Age fortified settlement from Șigău (Cluj County)

Summary/Abstract: In this article we highlight the existence of a fortified settlement from the Late Bronze Age period in the territory of the village of Șigău (Cluj County). The site is known in the specialized literature but until now, the fortified nature of this settlement has not been specified. Some time ago several pottery fragments of the Deva-Bădeni group were collected from the surface of the settlement the batch being preserved at the museum in Dej.
