Summary/Abstract: From the Kantian essay on the aging of Earth follow consequences valuable until today. Among them, the care for water, necessary for the maintenance of nature and humans, is dominant. Another resource which should not be wasted is salt. It contributes to the maintenance of life as well. It is required that all these natural resources be responsibly maintained, in order to better serve their purposes. This is the implicit message of Kant’s essay on the aging of Earth: to be responsible for our planet.
