Summary/Abstract: The child as a specific being is the subject of consideration under both internatio-nal and domestic law. Its protection is an extremely serious and difficult subject. Due to its underdeveloped level of life discernment, it is an ideal target for perpetrators of various types of crimes. The crime of human trafficking is one of the crimes for which children are increasingly being recruited. In international law we can find a number of acts regulating the participation of children in this crime. The main purpose is primarily to protect victims, prevent and counteract child trafficking. In domestic law, the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and the Criminal Code uphold the protection of the child from the procedure of trafficking.
