Summary/Abstract: Through his life and activity, Metropolitan Andrei Şaguna was a representative personality in 19th century Transylvania. Being a good organizer, theologian, diplomat and outstanding thinker, Metropolitan Andrei Şaguna did not neglect his pastoral activity either. Through his sermons, he maintained the christian spirit among his believers, but also the love towards the Romanian people; at the same time, the text presents the life of the early Christian Church.This way of life is also a true model for believers today.
