Summary/Abstract: The author intended to analyze in the paper the publicity of the three engine building factories from Sibiu from the point of view of the evolution of the art styles from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Unfortunately, the studied material I did not confirm the working hypothesis, as the images remained almost unchanged in time. Only the presentation texts became shorter and more structured. The merit of the three owners – Rieger, Wagner and Török – lies in the fact that they used a modern means but they did not employ a skillful designer to create advertising on European level.
