Preschool and early school education in the face of contemporary challenges

Summary/Abstract: The modern world is creating challenges for all areas of life, including education in school or kinder- garten. In direct contact with the problems stand children, as well as teachers and bodies responsible for the organization of facilities. The purpose of the article is to show the current challenges of education and propose appropriate solutions. The first part presents a contemporary profile of a teacher, the quali- ties he or she should possess, and tips on what to expect from students. The next part shows the phe- nomena we can observe in today’s education and what the world of values looks like in the eyes of a child. The last part discusses dysfunctional families and how much of an impact the family has on a child’s development.
