Summary/Abstract: Digitization together with modern digital technologies affects every human sphere, including education, where teaching in a virtual environment is already a common phenomenon. Recently, video microteaching has been in the spotlight, the establishment of which in undergraduate training can contribute to the development of personal and professional competences in an suitable way, because the student does not perceive the teacher as a mentor, but also as a coach. The goal of introducing this innovative method into the educational process is the experiential acquisition of new knowledge with a focus on stimulating internal motivation and soft skills, also using digital skills in the teaching profession. In this article, we focus on professional online workshops through which we try to find a continuum of professional education opportunities for future teachers and adapt undergraduate training to this new phenomenon, which offers a potential space for more active use of innovations directly in real practice.
