Summary/Abstract: This research aims to examine students' assertiveness attitudes in multicultural learning environments. It was aimed to understand the potential differences between students' initiative levels through analyzes made on various variables including ethnicity, age and gender factors. "Passiveness, Assertiveness and Aggressiveness Scale - EGSS" was chosen as the measurement tool used in the research. According to the findings of the research, ethnicity has a significant effect on assertiveness attitudes. Significant differences in initiative levels were observed between students from different ethnic groups. Additionally, a positive relationship was determined between students' ages and their initiative levels. The increase observed in students' initiative levels with increasing age shows that development in this area progresses depending on age. Gender factor is also an important factor on assertiveness. Research has shown that gender-based differences affect students' assertiveness levels. It has been determined that male students generally have higher levels of initiative. This provides an important guide in determining gender-based education strategies.
